The Multitek Model 2020CSC is the first firewood processor to be manufactured with a pintle hitch hookup and with an integrated stacking conveyor. Can be towed with a typical one ton dually truck. Eliminates the hassle of a multiple equipment move and setup. No more needing two men with two trucks to move this processor and conveyor from site to site. This is the ideal processor for contract firewood processing, making windrows piles of firewood or to produce more revenue as a rental machine. Outstanding features are the Multitek exclusive in-feed shuttle grapple carriage, allows the operator to process the most difficult low grade crooked logs. This is a heavy-duty cycle firewood processor for the production oriented firewood producer. It can efficiently and accurately process low grade hardwood logs up to 20" (51 cm) in diameter by 20’ (6.1 m) in length at a rate of up to 3 cords per hour 128 cubic feet per cord (3.62 cubic meters). The frame is constructed of high strength low weight alloy steel tubing and the discharge conveyor (with built in side discharge debris cleanout) has a 9’ 9” (2.97 m) discharge height. The Model 2020CSC has a very low operating cost, simple design and is easy to maintain. The saw head is equipped with aggressive Oregon Micro Chisel cutters, .404" pitch, .080 gauge mechanical harvester style 35" bar, operator friendly joystick style hydraulic controls, tandem hydraulic pump (allows the operator to be sawing and splitting at the same moment), hydraulic oil cooler, auto-cycle splitter, interchangeable 4 - 6 - 8 way vertically adjustable interchangeable splitter blades. The 2020CSC power is derived from a 54hp (41 kw) turbo John Deere liquid cooled diesel engine. The diesel engine is provided with a 2,000 hour, two-year engine warranty. The operators platform with seat is standard equipment. Options include flood lights, 11h saw chain, anti-vandalism guarding, extra short log live deck arm and a log deck extension.
