Multitek North America, LLC is proud to introduce a new medium sized firewood processor that features a 40” circular saw with a patent pending cutting method. The machine features a 35 horsepower liquid cooled diesel engine, operator joystick controls, a 3-strand hydraulic powered live deck, and adjustable 4-way or 6-way wedge. Most impressive is the 40” carbide tipped circular saw that is safely housed inside of a well guarded guillotine style saw carriage. The circular saw eliminates the requirement of bar and chain oil, while increasing the machines cutting cycle. The machine features an increased 4.5 second splitter cycle time over similarly sized Multitek and X-brand machines to keep up with the efficient circular saw. With productivity and efficiency in mind, this machine features the lowest cost of ownership than any other small or medium sized firewood processor.

 

Built with a trailer package and optional integrated conveyor system, this machine can be a real money maker by going onsite to custom process firewood for others. Weighing in at over 5,000 lbs, this heavyweight machine is very stable to run and safe to operate. This new machine was officially released on June 15, 2010 at the Multitek manufacturing facility in Prentice, Wisconsin.
